Welcome Free Woman of Gor to the Camp of the Kassar

We, the Kassar, are wagon people of Gor. Here You will find that We do things different then the  Women of the City. As a member of this Camp You are expected to and will fully  contribute to the well being of the Camp. Just because You are Free does not give You the right nor the privilege to sit on Your laurel and do nothing. You are not here to chit chat and take up space. You are now apart of a working family that depends on each other in order to survive. It is the expectation of the Ubar that when You become part of this family that You understand that You will be required to do work about camp. It's not to say that You do the chores for the slaves, but there are things that any and all FW can and have been trained to do.

… even girls who will be free companions, and never slaves, learn the preparation and serving of exotic dishes, the arts of walking, and standing and being beautiful, the care of a man's equipment, the love dances of their city, and so on.  ~ Nomads of Gor - Page 63

Whether You choose to help out in the cook wagons or in Your Clan's wagons or helping with other odds and ends around the Camp, that is Your choice. However keep in mind that just like the slaves, lazy Frees, male or female, will not be looked highly upon by the Ubar and they will be handled how He sees fit.

Also a reminder to those that are not FC'd or Mated, You fall under the care of Ubar Gaerix. Everything that You do, You say, You think, You utter-It all reflects on Him. Not only on Him, but on Kassar as well. You will do well to remember that You remain Free in this Camp because He allows it.

"This harsh treatment, incidentally, when she is thought to deserve it, may even be inflicted on a free companion, in spite of the fact that she is free and usually much loved. According to the Gorean way of looking at things a taste of the slave ring is thought to be occasionally beneficial to all women, even the exalted free woman. Thus when she has been irritable or otherwise troublesome even a Free Companion may find herself at the foot of the couch looking forward to a pleasant night on the stones, stripped, with neither mat nor blanket, chained to the slave ring precisely as though she were a lowly slave girl. It is the Gorean way of reminding her, should she need to be reminded, that she, too, is a woman, and thus to be dominated, to be subject to men. Should she be tempted to forget this basic fact of Gorean life the slave ring set in the bottom of each Gorean couch is there to refresh her memory. Gor is a mans world."

For those that are FC'd or Mated, You first and foremost answer to Your Companion. He is the one that allows You Your freedom above all others. However, this does not give You a free ticket to mouth at the other FM's of the Home. You are still held to the same standards as those that are not FC'd.  Your actions, words, ideas and thoughts all reflect on Your FC and on Ubar Gaerix and then on Kassar. If Ubar Gaerix feels that You have over stepped Your bounds when Your Companion is not there to deal with it, He does have the right to cage and/or cuff You. Do not be surprised though if He has not already made an agreement with Your Companion that allows Him further rights of action over You.

After all this is Kassar, and His word is Law- Even to a Free Man of Gor.
Quotes that ALL FW of Kassar should heed at all times and remember:

Goreans, in their simplistic fashion, often contend, categorically, that man is naturally free and woman is naturally slave. But even for them the issues are far more complex than these simple formulations would suggest. For example, there is no higher person, nor one more respected, than the Gorean free woman. Goreans do believe, however, that every woman has a natural master or set of masters, with respect to whom she could not help but be a complete and passionate slave girl.

She looked up at me in wonder, blood at her mouth. She had been cuffed.  "Did you strike me because I challenged your manhood?" she asked. "I did not really mean it. It is only that I was terribly angry. I did not think."  "You were not struck for such an absurd reason," I said. "You are, after all, a free woman, and free women are entitled to insult, and to attempt to demean and destroy men. It is one of their freedoms, unless men, of course, should decide to take it from them. You were struck, rather, because you were attempting to manipulate me."

"I am a free woman," she said. "How can you, a free man, deny me anything I want?" "Easily," I said.  She looked at me, angrily.
"Many free women believe they can have anything they want, merely by asking for it, or demanding it," I said, "but now you see that that is not true, at least not in a world where there are true men."

"Free women, incidentally, among the Wagon Peoples are not permitted to wear silk: it is claimed by those of the Wagons, delightfully I think, that any women who loves the feel of silk on her body is, in the secrecy of her heart and blood , a slave girl, whether or not some master has yet forced her to don the collar."
